Limit your learning resources
careerIt is crucial to limit your learning resources. Don’t be a resources hoarder. Learn to say NO to new resources. When I was in School, and college. As a student all I want to do is get as many as books, notes, sample papers from my seniors, and friends. When we are students we have ample of time to go through more than 1 resource.
But I still remember, I have around 5-6 different books of maths mock exams, guides, etc. apart from NCERT books. As a result, I was not able to finish any single one and not able to focus on primary book. This is the problem of “lot of time and resources” but lack of organisation issues.
I rectified that mistake after this. I started focusing only on 1 resource, only once the current resource is completed and I have implemented my learning from that, then only I move to the next one. I can see the advantages of it:
My focus is not divided between resources:
-
I am not comparing resources
-
I am learning from one resource, giving my 100%, and mastering that resource only
-
Implementing my learnings as soo as I am done. Instead of jumping from one to another
-
Instead of deciding which one to learn , I can just learn
-
Can see my progress coz I am only following one resource
-
If there are gaps, then a YT search or chatGPT is enough to help
So, stop collecting more than 1-2 resources and start focusing on what you have in front of you right. “Start from where you have and from where you are”
